Marilyn May Bjorkman, 73, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at home. Born in Paterson, she lived in York, PA before moving to Whiting. She volunteered in the Village VII Library and was an avid reader of mystery stories. She was an avid Yankee's and Penn State fan. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Edith Sharp and her brother, Ronald. She is survived by two sons, Keith of San Francisco, CA and Marc of Yardley, PA and three grandchildren, Erin, Matthew and Lukas. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in her memory to your local Volunteer Fire Company or EMT Unit would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting.
