Marion McGuire (nee Specht), 86 of Tinton Falls, formerly Whiting passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, surrounded by her family. Marion was born in the Down Neck section of Newark, NJ on May 12, 1938. She was a graduate of East Side High School. Marion lived in various places before settling in South Plainfield to raise her family. She worked for JA-CE Company as a Cafeteria Manager in North Plainfield High School which gave her flexibility to focus on spending time with her family. Marion's mantra was "C U in AC" and never found a casino she didn't enjoy. Marion loved to travel with Curacao being a favorite destination.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Jack in 2006; parents Eleanor and John; sisters Eleanor (twin), Louise, Linda; son Kevin; and son-in-law Marcus. Surviving are her children, Colleen (Phil), Kathleen, Kristi (Maureen); 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother John (Helen); sister Denise (Bill); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 1-4pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home. 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center Foundation, Patient Comfort Fund or St Jude's.
