Marion Katherine Ploessel, 90, of Whiting, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Crestwood Manor in Whiting. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in Queens Village, NY before moving to Whiting in 1987. Marion was a secretary for the IRS. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 22 years, Arthur Ploessel, in 2007. She is survived by her niece Lucy Reilly of St. Helens, OR. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 a.m., Friday, Oct. 25th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
