Martha Anne Haley, 79, of Whiting passed away on March 24, 2022 at home. Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Kearny and lived in Lanoka Harbor from 1972 until settling in Whiting in 2007. Ms. Haley was a teacher for over 40 years for the Kearny Board of Education until retiring in 2011. She was a member of the NJEA and the NEA, the Ocean County Retired Teacher's Association, and the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton "8 O'Clocker's". She is survived by her sister, Lois and her husband Charles of Whiting; her nephew, Charles Thompson Jr and his wife Melissa; her niece, Jana Piersol and her husband John; and her great nieces and nephews, James, Broden and Haley Marie. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2022 from 9-10:30 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45am at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Cremation will be private.
