Mary B. Dwyer, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at home. Born in New York City, she lived there before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. Mary was a restaurant manager for The Saloon in New York City. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Mary was predeceased by two grandchildren, Ryan McKnight and Brian Dwyer. She is survived by four children, Mary Ellen Viglianti and her husband, Drew, Thomas Dwyer and his wife, Leslie, Christine Dwyer and Catherine McKnight; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kerie, Brendan, Matthew, Thomas, Allyson, Michael and Taryn; seven great-grandchildren, Owen, Brendan, Kieran, Gavin, Suzie, Summer and Patrick and her lifelong friend, Joan Kohler. A Memorial Mass will be offered Monday, April 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of the Epiphany, 373 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10010.
