Mary R. Franzolin, 88, of Whiting, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Van Dyke Hospice, Toms River. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Whiting in 1994. She was an accounts payable clerk with Farrell Lines Shipping, New York City. Mrs. Franzolin was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1995. She is survived by one son, Anthony P. of Point Pleasant; one brother, Joseph Monticello of Toms River; and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church.
