MARY LOUISE McEWAN, 97, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Friday, February 1, at Crestwood Manor Health Care Center in Whiting. Mrs. McEwan was born in Urbana, IL and lived in Bloomfield and Parsippany before moving to Whiting in 1979. She was a member of the clergy wives of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Whiting and the church's Women's Club, and a member of the Women's Club of Hilltop Clubhouse, Whiting. The family would like to thank the staff at Crestwood Manor and Holisticare Hospice. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Donald C. McEwan; one daughter, Jean Pierce of Simpsonville, SC; one brother-in-law, Kenneth McEwan of Lakewood; two nieces, Jane Roehm of Lansing, MI and Norma Long of LaCygne, KS and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm, Thursday at Crestwood Manor, 50 Lacey Road, Whiting. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 180 Route 539, Whiting, NJ 08759.
