Mary T. McGreevy, 100, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Creswtwood Manor Healthcare Center in Whiting. Born in Newark, she lived there and Nutley before moving to Whiting in 1973. Mary was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was a member of the church's Choir and Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John Raymond McGreevy in 1989; two sons, Raymond P. McGreevy in 2000 and Dr. John C. McGreevy in 2010. She is survived by one son, Paul C. McGreevy of New Lisbon, NJ; one sister-in-law, Judith McGreevy of Toms River; one granddaughter, Beth McGreevy and one great-granddaughter, Ruth Winer. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
