Mary J. Schweizer, 97, of Whiting, Crestwood Village IV, passed away on Saturday, April 4, in Toms River. Born in New York City and resided in the Bronx and Yonkers, before moving to Whiting in 1974. Mary was a member of the Whiting First Aid Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was dearly loved and will be missed forever. Mary was predeceased by her husband Arthur, her daughter Diane Mead, her brother Jerry, her sisters Frances and Rose, and her nephew John Knedlhans. She is survived by her caregivers for the last several years, niece Michaela Knedlhans and her grandnieces Janine Knedlhans, Kristin Dianora and her husband Christopher, and their daughter Briella and her live-in caregiver Lamara Kitesashvili; two grandsons and families, Edward his wife Laurie Mead and their children; Tara, Christina, Edward Jr., and Nicholas, and William and Connie Mead, and their children McKenna and Madison. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, April 8, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ 08759, with a service to begin at 7 PM.
