MARY ELIZABETH VINCENZ, 91, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Tuesday, April 1, at home. Born and raised in Plainfield, NJ, she lived on Long Beach Island before moving to Whiting in 1978. Mrs. Vincenz was a saleswoman at Teppers Department Store, Plainfield, for 15 years. She was a volunteer at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Max, in 1979. She is survived by two children, Judy Throckmorton of Venice, FL and Thomas W. Vincenz of Lebanon, NJ; one sister, Elizabeth Zoda of North Plainfield, NJ; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 12 noon in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be in Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.
