Mary M. (nee Gourlay) Walsh of Whiting, MANCHESTER, formerly of Ocean Gate and Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home on July 29th. She was 89. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of James and Josephine Gourlay. She was the devoted wife of the late James Bernard Walsh and the loving mother of Joann (Bob) Glasson. She was the adoring grandmother of Brian (Irina), Todd (Kate), James (Angela) and Gregory (Jessica) and devoted great grandmother to Marc, Monique, James, Will, Nicholas, Brooke, Alexa, Meredith and Colin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life on Monday, August 4th from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
