Mary J. Wasielewski, 72, of Whiting passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 after a long illness. Born in Kearny, she grew up in North Arlington and lived in Glen Ridge and Medford before settling in Whiting.

Mary was employed by Prudential Insurance company for many years. She loved her grandchildren and time spent with them, and enjoyed watching the Yankees, ice cream, chocolate, playing Shanghai, traveling, going to the beach, and her cats and dogs.

She was predeceased by her mother, Bernice Healing and her brothers William (Billy), Donald, and Edward. She is survived by her children, Sara, Brian, and their father Paul; her grandchildren, Joseph, Isaias, and Caylee; her brother Ronald; Aunt Mary, and niece and nephews.

Private services were entrusted to Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
