Mary C. Zapp, 89, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Crestwood Manor Healthcare Center in Whiting. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in Elmhurst, Queens, NY before moving to Whiting in 1978. Mary was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society and Rosary Makers. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph M. Zapp and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, May 15th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
