Maryann J. Fortunato-Graf, 81, of Whiting, NJ passed away in the early morning of June 2, 2026 at AristaCare in Whiting. Mary Ann was born in New York City to parents John and Antoinette Fortunato. She grew up and lived in NYC before deciding to settle in Whiting, with her husband Henry, where she resided for twenty-seven years.

Maryann took pride in her career as a clerical for the McGraw Hill Publishing Company, for twenty-four years before retiring once she moved to Whiting. She was involved with the Busy Bees of Lakeshore Lodge, the Safety Patrol of Pine Ridge, and was recently the President of the Resident Council at AristaCare. Maryann belonged to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and enjoyed praying for those around her. In her spare time, Maryann would watch old Hollywood movies on DVD, specifically Lucille Ball and The Golden Girls. She loved her family and kept a very close relationship with the aunts, uncles and cousins that she grew up with on Spring Street in Manhattan.

Maryann is predeceased by her husband, Henry (2021; her granddaughter, Nicole Kelly (2021); and her brother Michael (1978).
She is survived by her step-children, Barbara Kelly, Michael Graf, Eric Graf, Amy Welch, Matthew Graf, and Michael Kerrigan; her fourteen grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and her AristaCare family.

A mass will be offered on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.
