Maureen "Reenie" Fitzgerald, 59, of Whiting, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 26, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family after a year long battle with cancer. She lived most of her life in Bloomfield before moving to Barnegat. She ran a newspaper delivery franchise in Ocean County and also worked in the Electronics Department at Walmart. She loved animals, especially her two deceased Bichons, Casey and Freddie. She is survived by her mother, Joan Cunningham; one brother, Kevin Fitzgerald; two sisters, Kate Fitzgerald Groby and Mary Cechman, and her cat, Bugsy.
