Michael Bruno, 78, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in Bronx, NY, he lived in Ridgefield, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2003. Michael was a self-employed house painter for his own business, 'Michael Bruno House Painting' retiring in 2003. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Anna, of 55 years; his 3 children: Peter, of North Haledon, NJ; Joseph, of Marietta, Georgia, and his wife, Monique; and Christine, of Bergenfield, NJ; his 3 grandchildren, Haylei, Kathryn and Joseph; his sister-in-law, Margaret L. Bay; his niece, Linda A. Callahan and her husband, Daniel Callahan; his nephew, Mark A. Bay, and his wife, Elizabeth Bay; and his brother, Rosario Bruno. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 2nd at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
