Michael Collins, 51 of Crestwood Village VII, Whiting, NJ passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in New York City before moving to Whiting in 2009. Mr. Collins was an Investment Broker with Citi Group for many years and most recently with the Maxim Group in New York City. He was an Artist and he also enjoyed fishing. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife, Toshiko, in 1996; his brother, Robert, in 2001; and his father, Joseph, in 2005. He is survived by his mother, Joan Doherty Collins; three brothers, Joseph, Jr. of Roselle Park, NJ, John of North Brunswick, NJ, and Jeffery of Charlotte, NC; three nephews, Joey III, James, & Matthew; and three nieces, Suzy, Jenny, & Catherine. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home LLC, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.
