Michael J. Gurliaccio, 67, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. Michael was born in Jersey City, NJ. He was a self-employed musician. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Michael was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Michael was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Lena Gurliaccio. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Gurliaccio; his two sons, Michael Gurliaccio and Joseph Gurliaccio; three step-children, Raymond Hugh, Lisa Iannuzzo and Cheryl Grochowski; one brother, Jack Gurliaccio and his wife, Maryann; one sister, Roseann Ambrosini and her husband, Joe; three nieces, Kimberly, Vicky and Maria; two nephews, Joseph and Michael and nine grandchildren A Memorial Mass will be offered Thursday, March 31st at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
