Michael R. Lynch, 90, of Whiting, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in North Bergen, NJ, he lived in Guttenburg, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1999. Michael was a stationery engineer for the Tetley Tea Company, Shelton, CT. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during WWII. Michael's wife, Violet, predeceased him in 2008. He is survived by 2 sons, Michael R. Lynch and Gerald Lynch; 4 daughters, Kathleen Baron, Patricia Lynch, Margaret Lynch, and Irene Lynch; 1 step-son, Vincent Ruppert; 1 sister, Veronica Doyle; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His cremation was private. The ashes will be buried on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 1 pm at the B/G William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover, NJ.
