Muriel L. Berry, 85, of Lakewood, formerly of Whiting, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Thorndale, PA before moving to Whiting in 1997. Muriel was a machine operator for Allen Envelope Company, Devon, PA for 10 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Bowling Club of Crestwood Village VII and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, James Jay Berry in 2005. She is survived by three children, Patricia Berry of Howell, NJ, Jean Machillo of Pottstown, PA and Michael Berry of Clementon, NJ and three grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
