Nettie DePierro, age 83, of Whiting, NJ died on Friday, January 4, 2013 at AristaCare at Whiting after a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Ridgewood, NY before settling in Whiting, NJ in 1998. Nettie was employed as a secretary by the Brooklyn Union Gas company for 52 years. Miss DePierro is survived by her brother, Martin A. DePierro of Whiting, NJ and a sister, Anna Gugiano of Astoria, NY. A private interment will occur at the Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY on Monday, January 7, 2013.
