Nicholas Simonenko, 86, passed away March 12, 2025.

Born in Kiev Ukraine, Nick moved to Trenton, NJ 74 years ago. He was a Machinist for 43 years before retiring in 2002. He was proud to have been a paratrooper with the Army's 82nd Airborne division. In his free time, he enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. Nick was an avid fisherman and had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed boating and fishing as well as restoring old cars.

Nick is predeceased by his son Nicholas J. Simonenko survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Piroska Simonenko, his sons Anthony and John Simonenko, his daughter's in-law Karen and Kim Simonenko as well as his 4 grandchildren Nicholas, Tyler, Elizabeth and Andrew.

A burial service will be held at the BG Williams C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562. The service will be conducted at 11:30am on Thursday March 20, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bayada Hospice, 10 Allen Street Ste 1-A, Toms River, NJ 08753.
