Norman Crichton, 81, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at Arista Care at Whiting, Manchester. Mr. Crichton was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. He lived in Fairlawn, NJ before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. He was a member of the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary; two daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine and Charles Waite of Hamburg, NJ and Lesley Gabriel of Kenoza Lake, NY and six grandchildren, Cheryl, Toni, Douglas, Daniel, Richard and John. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
