Patricia E. McAfee, 89, of the Whiting section of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Egan, she was born in Jersey City and was a longtime resident of Old Bridge before settling in Whiting in 1994.

A homemaker, Mrs. McAfee was a parishioner at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1991, her granddaughter Kate McAfee in 2012, her son-in-law, Richard Blackmore III, and by her brothers, Mark and Daniel Egan.

She is survived by her children, Helen Blackmore, Claire McAfee-Hirschfield and her husband Dan, Laura Kijewski, Robin and her fiancé Paul St. Germain, Brenda McAfee and her husband Aladen Shaban, Daniel McAfee and his wife Grace, Andrew McAfee, and Paul McAfee; her grandchildren, Richard Blackmore IV and his wife Nicole, John Blackmore, Jessika Kijewski, Christopher Haas and his wife Niki, Kyle Haas and his wife Kathleen, Gabriel Shaban and Laura Shaban; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha and Emily Mason, Bennett and Parker Haas, and two great-grandbabies on their way.

Viewing will be Monday, December 30, 2024 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45am at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers and memorial contributions, an act of kindness to a mother would be a fitting and appreciated tribute to Patricia.
