Paul G. Mattner, 72, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, December 8 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Piscataway before moving to Whiting in 2012. He retired from Novartis Pharmaceutical of East Hanover, NJ in 2005 after 35 years. He was a former member of St Frances Cabrini Church of Piscataway. He was a communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul is survived by his wife Ellie of 37 years; his daughter and future son-in-law, Nancymarie and Sean; two brothers, Richard and Jackie of Arizona; Robert and Ginny of Long Island; Nephew, Jonathan; Niece, Katie; his Uncle Lou Miccio; and several cousins. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 13th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Saturday Dec. 14th at 10:45 am at All Saints Chapel of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Cremation will be private.
