Pauline M. Armento, 89, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at The Pines at Whiting. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Barnegat for 17 years before moving to Whiting in 2015. Pauline was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York. She was a secretary for Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Wood-Ridge, NJ for more than 20 years, retiring in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Pauline is survived by her very good longtime friends, Mary H Wirz and Raymond and Barbara Nicosia and several cousins. Visitation will be Monday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
