Peter Stasinski, 85, of Whiting, NJ passed away on June 13, 2024 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived there until moving to Whiting in 2000.

Peter was a postal worker at the Cooper Union Postal facility in Manhattan for 30 years until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed growing various vegetables in his garden and more so, he loved fishing. Peter was active in the Fishing and Bowling Club of Cedar Glen Lakes and the Irish-American Club of Crestwood Village.

He is predeceased by his parents, Helen and Peter Stasinski. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Moore) Stasinski; his children, Peter and his wife Kathleen, Alicia Nortwich and her husband Richard, and Catherine Dunn, all of Levittown, NY, Kevin Stasinksi and his wife Eve of Manhattan, and Barbara Corbett and her husband Thomas of Queens; his grandchildren Kaitlin, Craig, Liam, Miriam, Kerry Ann, Colleen, John, Michael, Emily, Ethan, Lillian, Kieran, Beverly, Eireann, Kathleen Rose, Meghan, Thomas, and Mary Grace; and his great- grandchildren, James Peter, and Matthew John.

A Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 16th, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2024 at10:45am at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Cremation will be private.

Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
