Raymond L. Balding, 73, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Born in Decatur, IL, he lived in Union and Cranford before moving to Whiting 11 years ago. He was a heavy equipment operator in the Public Works Department of Union Twp, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Crestwood Village V Bocci Club. Raymond is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 26 years, and his former wife, Charlene Balding of Myrtle Beach, SC; three children Corina and Glenn Huff of Salisbury, NC, Darcy and Nicholas DeLoretto, of Clark and Tara Balding and Rick Eisinger of Taylorsville, NC; two sisters, Linda and Dave Sparks of Indianapolis, IN and Louise and Virgil Day of Decatur, IL and one grandson, Nicholas DeLoretto III. Interment will be Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 11:00 a.m., at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home,
