Raymond R. Doody, 88, of Lakewood, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at home. He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and lived in Point Pleasant and Manasquan before moving to Lakewood 20 years ago. Raymond owned and operated Raymond R. Doody, CPA in Long Branch, NJ. He was a communicant of St. Peter R.C. Church in Point Pleasant. Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Joan Doody in 2011; his son, Raymond, Jr. in 2008 and his step-daughter, Diane in 2016. He is survived by three children, Pamela, Patricia and John; four step-children, Barbara, Susan, Teresa and Dawn; one sister, Grace Shwert and 13 grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
