Richard Denis Grenville, 93, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on the morning of October 27, 2026 at the Pines Village. Richard was born in New York City, NY to parents Patrick and Bridget Grenville. Richard lived in Yonkers, NY and the Bronx, NY before settling in Whiting in 1996.

Richard was a member of the United States Army who proudly served his country during the Korean War. He later earned his Bachelor's degree and worked in many accounting firms throughout his career, most notably SCI East Regional Office in NYC. Richard was a devoted member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. He was involved in the American- Irish Club in Whiting as well as the American Legion.

Richard is predeceased by his sister, Eileen Malesh. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Grenville; his daughters, Susan (Bruce) Begue of Lake Park, GA, Colleen (Louis_ Leo of Wappingers Falls, NY and Deirdre Grenville of Bronx, NY; his grandchildren, Gabrielle (Matthew) Davidson, George Leo and Deirdre Leo; his brother Patrick (Anna) Grenville of Melbourne, FL; his sisters, Mary Burke of Sloatsburg, NY and Catherine Grenville of Las Vegas, NV.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.

A mass will be offered on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 10:45 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
