Roberta R. Chester, 77 of Lakewood died Monday, August 22, 2011 at home. Born in New York, she lived in Paterson before moving to Lakewood in 1962. Roberta owned and operated Micrographics, and later was a bookkeeper for DCS Architecture. She was a member of the Lakewood Historical Society and the Friends of the Lakewood Library. She was also a member of the Lakewood High School Band Parents. Roberta is survived by her husband, William, of 56 years; two daughters, Niki Rose Chester; and Susan Fakterwitz; her son, Marc; her sister Judith Valente and 6 grandchildren. Burial will be private in the Brig. Gen WC Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Roberta's family will be gathering with relatives and friends on Wednesday Aug. 24 and Thursday Aug. 26 from 1:00 -9:00pm at her home.
