Rose Horyt, 78, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Jersey City, Rose lived in Manahawkin before moving to Whiting in 2001. She was a floor associate at Kmart in Manahawkin for 14 years, retiring in 2012. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Rose was predeceased by her first husband, James Graham in 1980 and her second husband, Joseph Horyt in 1998. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Theresa Graham of Bloomfield and James and Maryann Graham of Moonachie; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 23rd, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
