Rose Summers, 79, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was born and raised in Jersy City. She moved to Whiting in 1995. Rose was a financial specialist at Bell Labs, Holmdel for 25 years, retiring in1981. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard J. Summers in 2000. She is survived by her son, Leonard T. Summers of Pleasanton, CA and two grandghildren. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, September 18th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
