Rosemarie Quarto, 100, passed away on June 5, 2023 in Whiting, NJ.

Rosemarie was born on January 20, 1923 in Newark to parents Michael and Rosaria Buono. She grew up in Belleville and lived in Iselin for 40 years before relocating to Whiting, NJ in 1987.

Rosemarie worked as a Sales Clerk at Abraham & Strauss in Woodbridge, NJ. Her favorite past-times include the Rosary Altar Society of St. Cecilia, Iselin; Garden Club of Iselin; she was named Woman of the Year for Iselin; was an active volunteer for the Whiting First Aid Auxiliary and the Rosary Altar Society of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Whiting.

Rosemarie is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Rosaria Buono; her husband, Vincent Quarto and son-in-law, Noel Thomas.

Rosemarie is survived by daughter Dolores Quarto-Thomas of Whiting, NJ; and son Michael Quarto. Her four grandchildren, Marcel Quarto, Maximilian Quarto, Nicole Hawks & Noel Thomas; and seven great-grandchildren: Samantha, Aron, Ava, Gianna, Noel, Dylan & Mirel.

Friends and family will be received at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday June 14, 2023 from 9-10:30am.

A funeral service will be held at The All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 10:45am. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
