Rudolph A. Tafuri, 89, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Arista Care at Whiting in Manchester. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Bergenfield, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2005. He was a stevedore for ILA Corporation in New York City. Rudolph was a veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He is survived by his wife, Edilia; three children, Rudolph, Louis and Sandra Morley; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services are private.
