Ruth Marden Auletta, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Charles C. and Gertrude P. Marden. Ruth was a longtime resident of Hamilton Township in Mercer County before moving to Holiday City at Berkeley in 1979. She worked for the State of NJ Department of Human Services in Toms River for many years before retiring. Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Andrew M. Auletta; her daughter, Judith C. Johnson and her grandson, Steven Johnson. She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence M. Auletta of Seymour, TN and Andrew C. Auletta of Ewing, NJ; two daughters, Joan M. Auletta of Manchester, NJ and Jane R. Remley of Mays Landing, NJ; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015. Aaron Cremation Associates, Whiting, NJ is in charge of arrangements.
