Santa Isernia, 96, of Whiting, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at home. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to Whiting in 1976. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Vincent; two children, Robert Isernia and Paula Butchko; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 30, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and Tuesday, May 31, from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will be at Whiting Memorial Park.
