Sheila E. Sharkey, 81, of Cedar Glen Lakes, Whiting, MANCHESTER, passed away Wednesday, October 22, at Shorrock Gardens Care Center in Brick. Mrs. Sharkey was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1952. She lived in West Orange before moving to Whiting in 1999. She was a Nurse Administrator at Montcalm Nursing Home, Montclair, NJ for 20 years, retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Patrick J.; two daughters, Mary Ann Arena and Carmel O'Connor; one son, John; one sister, Mary Drury; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
