Shirley A Lepori, 92, of Whiting. passed away Monday March 26, 2012 at Crestwood Manor. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she lived in Hillburn, NY before moving to Crestwood Village V in 1979. After 28 years Shirley retired as an accounting clerk for Avon Products. She was a member of Crestwood Village V Residents Club, The Garden Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8745, and a volunteer at Crestwood Golf Shop, as well as a communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Shirley was predeceased by her first husband, Ward Miller in 1953 and by her second husband, Lester Lepori in 1997. She is survived by her two sons, Pat Miller of Montebello, NY and Dennis B. Miller of Redwood City, CA;a grandson Scott,a step-daughter, Virginia Dolan of Endicott City, MD; and her sister Betty Lou Murray of Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial service will be held on Friday March 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Crestwood Manor, 50 Lacey Road, Whiting.
