Sophie B. Wesolowski, 91, of Manahawkin, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Seacrest Village LTC in Little Egg Harbor. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Toms River before moving to Manahawkin in 2004. Sophie was a factory manager for E.I. Philip Electronics, Murray Hill, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Wesolowski in 2003 and her sister, Helen Turchiano. She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine K. Pearson and a son, Allen Stefanovich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Stanley Witkowski of Brick, NJ and a sister, Irene Neiman of Colonia, NJ; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; two nieces; and four nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 26th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the new shelter at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
