STEVEN GROMEK, 59, of Whiting,Manchester Twp, passed away on Sunday, September 14, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mr. Gromek was born in Jersey City and raised in Whiting. He lived in Brick Twp, NJ and Venice, FL, before moving back to Whiting in 2008. Steven was an army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Gromek is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Veronica; step-son Kingsley Van Pelt; a brother Joseph Gajewski; and a sister Debra Berenda. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, at 10:30am, at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
