Susanne Burke Thajudeen passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home in Whiting, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years young.

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, she moved to Philadelphia in 1976 and eventually settled in Whiting, NJ in 2018. She worked as a special education teacher at the West Philadelphia High School for 25 years before retiring in 2008. She also worked as a special education professor at Montgomery Community College for several years after her retirement. She loved to travel around the world, go to Bethany Beach for her summers, share stories of all her adventures, and pray to Our Blessed Mother.

Susanne is predeceased by her parents Edmond Burke and Agnes Burke (nee Healion). She is survived by her loving husband Deen Thajudeen, her two beloved sons Khaleel Thajudeen and Christopher Thajudeen, and her daughter-in-law, Victoria.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Wednesday, December 4 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home at 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759 (732-350-1950). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 4 at 10:45 am at the All Saints Chapel at 30 Schoolhouse Road Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
