Sylvia Bornkoff-Polizzi, age 88, passed away on Sunday at her home in Whiting. She is survived by her husband Gian; her Daughter, Martha; her son, John; and her granddaughter, Jessica. A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 1pm at her home.
