Obituary

THEODORE A. ALLEN, 85, of Crestwood Village VI, Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Saturday, October 6, at the Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Toms River. He owned and operated Theodore Allen Piano Tuning and Repairs for 30 years. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Bridgewater American Legion Post, a member of the Masonic Lodge in East Orange, NJ and was a member of the Crestwood Village VI Residents Club. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Church, Whiting. Born in Orange, he lived in Highlands, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Stella; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and David Bahney of Howell; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Serena Allen of Seaside Heights and Charles Allen of Farmingdale; one brother, Robert Allen of Knoxville TN and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Christ Evangelical Church, 300 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting is in charge of arrangements.
