Theodore V. Pruss, 82, of Whiting, passed away, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he lived in Florida and Yardville before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. Theodore was a purchasing agent for 27 years for RCA, Princeton, NJ. He was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Perth Amboy and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Theodore is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Seymour Pruss; two sons, Thomas Pruss of Westampton, NJ and Steven Pruss of Hunterdon, NJ; one daughter, Debra Gilbert of Cream Ridge, NJ; a brother, Myron Pruss of Metuchen, NJ; a sister, Christine Czoch of Sewaren, NJ and four grandchildren. Services will be private. Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting is in charge of arrangements.
