Thomas Robert O'Gara, 55, of Whiting, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 at home. Born in Glen Ridge, he lived in Toms River before moving to Whiting five years ago. He was a manager for Crestwood Village Water & Sewer Companies, Whiting, for 32 years. He was a member of Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Lakewood. Thomas was predeceased by his father, Robert O'Gara. He is survived by his mother, Elaine O'Gara; his wife of 24 years, Patricia Nist O'Gara; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Bill Dickson of North Arlington, Diane and David Wedding of Toms River, Michele and Dennis Costello of Aberdeen and Danielle and Jason Asch of Toms River; one brother, Kenneth O'Gara; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jeff Pisani of Marlton and nine grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
