Valerie Pissott, 81, of Whiting, NJ was called Home on the night of January 11, 2026. Valerie was born in Jersey City, to parents Chester and Elfrieda Rejko and was raised in Bayonne, NJ along with her two siblings. She eventually settled in Whiting, with her daughter, in January of 2024.

Valerie had a career as a buyer for over thirty years at Alpha Metals in Jersey City before her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed going on various cruises as she loved being by the water. In her spare time, you could find Valerie on a casino floor trying to win the jackpot, keeping her mind sharp by doing puzzles and word searches, or relaxing listening to Elvis.

Valerie is predeceased by her son, William David Pissott (2023). She is survived by her daughter, Karen Pissott; her sisters Elfrieda Rejko and Ann Crawford; her daughter-in-law Janice Pissott; her granddaughter Michaela Pissott; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on January 16, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home located at 28 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting, NJ.
