Virginia Costa, 86, of Lanoka Harbor passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. Born in Hackensack, she lived in Mahwah for many years before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 1984.

Prior to her retirement, she was a telephone operator for New York Telephone, and was later the manager at Ideas Plus, Forked River. She was a member of the Women's Club of Lacey, and loved to paint draw

and crochet.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2010, her son Rick in 2017, and by her siblings James, John, and David Foshay. She is survived by her children Ron DeVogel, Michael DeVogel and his wife Jeanine, and Lisa Carling and her husband John; her daughter-in-law Christine (Rick-2017) her grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Cameron, Michael, Adam, and Hunter; her great granddaughter Alex; and her siblings Maryann Huebner, Richard Foshay, Barbara Ierardi, and Ruth Weiss.

Visitation will be Friday, March 7th, from 5 to 8pm at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, Toms River. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Virginia's name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or a charity of your choice.
