Virginia Ruth Jacques, 98, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 16th, 2015. She was born in Long Branch and lived in Asbury Park, Wall, and Eatontown. Virginia was a graduate of Asbury Park high school class of 1935. She worked at Fort Monmouth, the Asbury Park Press, and Macy's before retiring to Bayville. She was an avid horse racing fan, and also loved jazz music. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lisa Huhn, of Forked River; three grandchildren, Devon, Nicholas, and Jeremy, and Alison, whom she loved like a daughter. A Celebration of Life Tribute for Virginia will be held on Sunday, Oct. 4th at 11 a.m. at Community Hall, 6 East Lacey Road, Lacey Twp., NJ.
