Vita Hoffman, 93, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Whiting Health Care Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in New York City, NY before moving to Whiting in 1980. Vita was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Vita was predeceased by her husband, Everett Hoffman in 2007. She is survived by two sons, Randy Hoffman and his wife, Helena of Long Island City, NY and Gary Hoffman of Rising Sun, MD; one brother, Steven Aguano of Long Island, NY; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
